Oh yes, nyan cat.
I’m going to combine these two ideas.
As in, dress up as the nyan cat, pink bodysuit, ears and whatnot, and then have a rainbow cape.
Yeah.
The thing is, IT and Science is my precinct, and the Meme Party is more for the IT crowd (good show).
So, Emerald and I are going, and I’m afraid we’ll be the only girls there.

Did I mention a toga party? I did. I’m going to try to replicate this design. But a little shorter, it’s stinkin’ hot on this side of the globe. I’m excited, I get to see all my friends in togas. On the downside, slutty girls in togas, yay. “I swear I’m not a whore…”

During Orientation week there were all these guilds that were like “YO JOIN OUR GUILD, JOIN THE LEGACY”, “DO YOU LIKE PIRATES?”, “PUB CRAWLS ARE EPIC”, “COME TO THE TOGA PARTY!”

I joined the Quidditch team, and the pirate bloke was from the church of the flying spaghetti monster.
I may be wrong, but I’m certain that it’s like mocking religion, even though it’s an official one, it’s basically atheism with a different name. If that makes sense :/
He came to talk to me twice, and the second time I just yelled “NO!” and ran off (I’m Catholic).

We accidentally sat next to the Queer-Space group. They were sitting on a rainbow blanket, under a tree with rainbows everywhere. I know, I missed the memo.
Buuuut, I got freeDOMS. Get it? Free condoms. Free-Doms. Freedom.
Anyway, what they’re doing is really good, giving queers (they prefer that term apparently) a safe place on campus. And the bags the dom’s came in were really cute.
Oh, and there’s the ITSA, it’s some IT group (my friend Yusuf says it’s not worth it, the LAN parties only go for an hour), and it had this geeky competition, guess the Gigabites in the Jar.

It’s a little jar full of thumb drives. It’s kinda cute.

Hullo lovelies, my apologies for being away for so very long, and I’ve been without internet (you can imagine how boring my life has been). I’ve been doing some things and working on other things and things are just ideas, but soon I won’t have time because I am now –drum roll- an official uni student! I won’t show you my ID card (security’s sake), but I look alright.
Well, it looks like me.

Things I’ve done since moving to Brisbane:

• Joined the Quidditch Team.

• (Sort of) made friends with people from my hometown

• Hung out with friends from my high school (so much for meeting new people)

• Got lots of free stuff (and pizza)

• Saw all the people in my course (Bachelor of Pharmacy), but didn’t meet any of them. I’m bad at making new friends.

• Bought all my textbooks ($300+) and carried them up a hill.

Oh and I have a smashing new laptop bag, courtesy of mommy.

Yeah :D Well, I’ve been working on things too, and doing a bit of DIY, posts up later.

I’ve got to go catch a train, heh, I catch trains everywhere now.

Laguiole cutlery, that my mommy bought me for moving out! I’m really excited to move into my own place and decorate it, and make it mine! I’ll be there for at least a year, and I’ll be living by myself, which means more time for cooking, sewing and creating. I’m looking forward to university.
